Buying items for games like Steal a Brainrot, Grow a Garden 2, Murder Mystery 2 or Adopt Me can save you hours of grinding. But there are a lot of fake shops and scammers out there. Here's how to stay safe.
Never give anyone your password
This is the big one. A real shop only needs your Roblox username to send you items through a trade. If a site, Discord user or "middleman" asks for your password, a login code or your email login, stop. That's a scam, no matter what they promise.
Signs a shop is legit
- Real reviews you can check. Look for reviews on a separate site like Trustpilot, not just on the shop's own page.
- Secure checkout. Payment should go through a trusted checkout with cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay, not a random gift card or crypto request in DMs.
- A clear refund policy. A good shop tells you what happens if your order doesn't arrive.
- Real contact options. A support email where real people answer.
Red flags
- Prices that are way too low for rare items.
- Asking you to pay first through DMs, then go "trust" them.
- Pressure to hurry, like "only 1 minute left, pay now".
- Asking you to drop your items first "to verify".
